PLANT: Terrestrial tuberous herb.
To 20cm high. Slender stem clad with prominent reddish to blackish-purple gland tipped hairs.

LEAVES: Single leaf, long and narrow.

FLOWERS: One or two. 1cm across. White or pale cream. Dark sessile glands on outer surface of tepals distinguishes it from Caladenia chlorostyla. Labellum usually coloured with red bars. Labellum midlobe cream and notched with marginal calli.

FLOWERING TIME:
October - February.

HABITAT: Beech forests and scrub. Often grows with Caladenia chlorostyla, but begins flowering a few weeks later.

CONSERVATION STATUS: Not threatened.

NOTES: Similar to Caladenia chlorostyla, but smaller and later flowering.
