PLANT: Terrestrial tuberous herb.
Up to 20cm high when in flower. Slender.

LEAVES: 3 to 5 arching, grassy leaves. 4.5-12cm long by 4-6mm wide.

FLOWER: Solitary. Semi-nodding. 2cm high. Greenish-yellow with translucent white stripes. Tips of dorsal and lateral sepals often tinged pink to orange. Lateral sepals lean forward and outward from the flower. Labellum tapered, the tip coloured pinkish. Stigma narrowly shield shaped.

November - January.

HABITAT: Lowland to montane. Shaded forest floors, often in areas of base-rich rocks.

CONSERVATION STATUS: At Risk - Naturally Uncommon.

NOTES: Resembles a small Pterostylis irwinii.
