Red bearded, labellum with short, twisted, strap shaped tip. “Eyes” closely set.

Habitat
Clays and peat, in open scrub; lowland to montane.
Conservation
A few plants in many widely scattered localities; naturally uncommon, sparse. In Australia.
Notes
Leaf wider than C, paludosus and labellum tip hidden in the beard. Often occurs with C. paludosus.

Strongly striped petals and sepals, densely hairy beard and very short, bare tip.
