Plant
With sparse stems to 1m long, leaves 5-12 x 6-8mm, deeply channelled, with prominent midribs and lateral veins.
Flowers
Up to 10mm across, cream with orange labellum, similar to those of E. mucronata but with a short column. Often has a lemon perfume.

Like E. mucronata but leaves are shorter and broader, flowers often larger, later flowering, less common and widespread; has been regarded as just a variant of E. mucronata
