Flowers
With dorsal sepal tip up-turned, petals almost hidden under dorsal; labellum narrower at tip than base, tongue-like, with smooth margin and no terminal notch. The two elongated calli at the base of the labellum are rounded and parallel.

Lowland, open places.

Not common.
Notes
True M. parviflora has a very smooth-edged labellum; some NZ forms with triangular labella have undulate or notched margins and may be a different entity.
