Flowers
Base of the flower broader than the top giving a distinctive fat-bottomed look. Dorsal often upturned. Midrib of labellum raised, usually reddish, the tip constricted and twisted somewhat to the right.
Flowering
July - October.
Habitat
Lowland: common. Found only in kauri forest or remnants. Northland to Bay of Plenty.
Conservation
Not threatened.
Notes
Delicate nodding flower with rolled sepals. Sometimes the labellum is red.
